The HIFU ablation catheter is connected to a PRI HIFU Ablation System that provides the precise inflation and deflation of the catheter’s balloon and provides for the generation and control of all aspects of the application of the ultrasound energy.

Even though the system operates under the direct control of the electrophysiologist, many of the routine operations of the system, including the monitoring and control functions performed by the unit’s internal safety system are automated to ensure safe operation of the system.
